Accessibility statement
School of Clay wants everyone to be able to use this site and come to the studio. The site aims to comply with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 at level AA.
What the site already does
The site is in Hebrew and English, with the right text direction and language marked for each. It works on phones, tablets and computers, and text can be enlarged with browser zoom. Every page has a "skip to main content" link and one main heading. It can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus ring. Dialogs move the focus inside, keep Tab inside, close with Escape and return the focus where it was. The home page slideshow has a pause button and stays still when your device asks for reduced motion. Login and payment errors are announced and linked to their field, required boxes are marked, the class options are announced as one-of-many choices, calendar sessions are read out with their date, time and class, and calendar text meets a 4.5:1 contrast ratio.
What is not perfect yet
Known gaps we are still working on: no full audit by an accessibility expert or full screen-reader test has been done yet. Moving a class to another day in your account calendar is done by dragging and has no keyboard-only alternative yet. Some dialogs and calendars have not yet been checked one by one with a screen reader, and the class-option rows are still checkboxes acting as one-of-many choices, so arrow keys do not move between them. The payment page is run by Cardcom and is not under our control.

The studio is at 16 Tchernichovsky St, Tel Aviv-Yafo. If you have a particular need for getting here or taking part in a class, talk to us before you come and we will do our best to adapt the space and the class.
